Hi, Gale. Just about any sugar substitute requires some adjustment, but people seem to respond well to Truvia. It is rather processed, but is still better than artificial sweeteners – especially with regard to reducing cravings. Sweet Freedom is all-natural, but note that unlike Truvia, it can “add up,” though it is lower in calories than regular sugar.

I cannot seem to break the addiction to sugar. It is really bad. How does truvia an Sweet Freedom compare in taste. Where do you buy it. Liquid or powder?

Hi, Sparkyone1. Truvia is probably fine – it is refined, but definitely preferable over completely artificial options.
And hello to you, too, Rafika. Sweet Freedom is fine, too, but keep track of how much you use, because it can add up!

Is it okay to use Truvia brand sweetener as a sugar substitute in my tea and oatmeal?
