![]() | Hi, Sallyponte. We are still working on fitting all of the recipes into the Menu Planner, but in the meantime, just select a recipe in the lists that is similar to the one you want to use, and just swap it when it comes time to prepare the meal. The last thing we want is for you to feel restricted! |
![]() | I too, am very new to the Trimdown Club and feel very restricted by the menu planner. I eat healthily generally and this has actually shown me i probably dont eat often enough! However, my question is , the recipe cook book looks great but how do i know when and where i can use them instead of some of the options that have come out on my planner. Thanks |
![]() | Hi, Melandchris2001, and welcome! The Menu Planner combinations are based on preferences of the Clubmembers we have so far. We are constantly in touch (surveys, etc.), and this is what comes out. If you would like to make your own combinations – by all means! In your finished menu, just click on the circular icon to the upper right of any meal you would like to build, and you will be guided – total freedom within the limits of your nutritional needs and recommended nutrient combinations. |
![]() | Hi I’m just new to your site and have gone through and chosen all of my menu favourites. I eat very healthily and am here to try and nail down my food combinations (ie protein/carbs/fats) for the correct times of day and quantities. My question is: In any given menu, Say for example a snack, I was given 1/4 cup cottage cheese and 1/2 cup apple sauce. What am I meant to do with that? I understand that I can exchange them, but they are just such random suggestion that occur often and some are plain ridiculous! |
