Hi, Christine. You’ve come to the right place! This program is based on principles to help your body shift from the type of weight gain caused by steroids to healthy weight loss through normalized metabolism. We favor high-protein, good fats, and fairly low carbohydrates, as much of which are complex. We also encourage exercise – it doesn’t have to be a lot or strenuous, but getting in 10 minutes of walking twice a day (or more) can help.

I have been on steroids since Christmas to treat a serious lung problem. I am now much better and I am weaning myself off them now – currently on 3 mg prednisolone. I have put on at least a stone and a half since being on steroids and, although I think my diet is very healthy and not excessive I can’t shift the weight. HELP please.
