Hi, Kim, and welcome. Without going through the reading, the best place to start is the Menu Planner application and just pick and choose what you like – note that the foods in the lighter blues are considered the healthiest. Choose your mealtimes according to your schedule and when you are most active, and yes, every 2-3 hours is a good frequency. Best of luck! 🙂
Regarding honey, yes, you can add that to oatmeal, but if you can limit it to a teaspoon or so at a time, that will help it from adding up.

I couldn’t find anywhere on here to start from the beginning. My main question to bypass a lot of reading ( I know its informative but I want simple and to the point)…is does it matter what time to eat breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner? Some diets say every 3hrs. I didn’t see that anywhere in here. I also would like to know if there is a certain plan to get started? Can I just pick and choose through all the breakfast items?? I don’t have to start with day 1 to jumpstart my body? Everything looks really yummy. Im waiting to just dive in so please let me know as soon as possible. Ohhhh and can I put honey in the oatmeal or will that sabotage things? Thank you
