Hi, kballhsd. A couple of options:
– when you say you’re not eating when you’re supposed to, are you eating relatively late at night? If so, are you pushing more of your food intake to later in the day? This may be a good time to reflect and see if you can return to your previous mealtimes.
– Similarly, it may help to keep a food log, even if just for a day or to, to confirm that you really are eating the same amounts as you did before.
– If you have been physically active, (1) you may wish to assess if you really are continuing to be as active as you were when you were losing/maintaining the weight, or (2) it may be time to switch your exercise a little bit, even temporarily; your muscles may have become complacent, and waking up new ones can reboot your metabolism. If you are not active or exercise very little, I would definitely suggest to consider adding even just 10 minutes to your day or a day to your week.
– Finally, do an inventory of your medications and/or general health – sometimes these can interfere. For example, if you have hypothyroidism and have been in balance up to now, it would be recommended to check to see if perhaps you need a medical assessment and adjustment.
If you have further questions, please do repost, and I will get back to you.
