Hi, BobbyLane. You can reduce the portion sizes of the starchy carbohydrates, but we do recommend that you try to get all the fruits and vegetables, as well as the protein foods. If you’re really struggling, you can reduce the latter as well. Do be careful not to reduce too much, as you may find yourself on too restrictive a plan.

new to the program, I’m finding it difficult to eat the portion size the menu calls for, can I reduce the portion size?
