Hi, Metteemily. Your first take is the correct one. 🙂

Hi, Liz. If you enter the personal version of the Menu Planner (the right-most link here: https://www.trimdownclub.com/menu-planner), you will see big buttons belonging to various food groups, including “Vegetables” and “Free” food.

I am a bit confused. If it says 2 servings of vegetables does it mean you can eat say 1 cup green beans ans one cup broccoli and as many vegetables as you like from the “free” vegetable or that you can eat say 1 cup green beans and unlimited amount of say cucumber? Does it matter if you do half a cup of green beans and half a cup of broccoli?

I can’t find that link. Just see like or dislike vegetables. Don’t see all the vegetables at all

Hi, Liz. There are indeed some vegetables that you can eat in basically unlimited amounts – you can see these by clicking on the “Vegetables of Your Choice” link in your menu. There you will also see portion sizes for other non-starchy vegetables, which is generally about 1 cup (240 ml).

I read somewhere that there were some vegetables that had no limit on how much you can eat. When the plan says one or maybe two servings how do I know the size of the portion?
