![]() | Thanks sharon, i was actually interested in making the butternut squash muffins. So maybe i will try them with oat flour. Thanks for answering my questions. |
![]() | Hi, boodlemom. Those are great flours, but note that they all have different nutritional properties (oat flour is a starchy carbohydrate source like rice flour, almond flour provides more fat and protein, and coconut flour is somewhere in the middle). They also all have somewhat different baking properties, and I would suggest you look up how to compensate for the differences, depending on the type of food you are preparing. |
![]() | Can i use oat flour , almond four or coconut flour to substitute for rice flour? |
![]() | Hi jdjunkie I got my rice flour from my local Co-op. Hoe this is useful. Holland and Barrett do also have it as donnasimpson says. |

![]() | Hi, jdjunkie. Absolutely. The main difference will be that the muffins will be a bit heavier in texture. |
![]() | Having difficulty locating this in the UK. I want to make the Butternut Muffins. Could I use Spelt flour instead? |
