Hi, lwscurtis. People who travel for work like you just use principles of the program to guide their eating rather than worry about following the specific menu. For example, portion control can make all the difference, as can making wise choices no matter what the restaurant menu holds (water instead of juice, soda, or alcohol; no appetizers unless that’s your meal; favoring vegetables and baked foods instead of deep-fried foods or heavy sauces, etc.). You can also try making requests of the staff – for example, leave butter off or on the side, so that you have control.
Keep in mind that you don’t have to be perfect all the time, just do a little better than you did in the past, and it will add up.
A bonus option is to steal exercise in your hotel room, even if it is just walking in place in front of the TV before bed.

I am traveling the week of the 7th I am new to the club and am wondering what others are doing when they have to travel for work and don’t have their comfortable resources. How do you follow your menu or do you some how modify menu to adjust. Dinner meetings are the worst because I don’t have the choice or ability to plan based on the restaurant menu.
