When it says 1 cup of vegetable serving, is it ok to say have 1/2 cup of tomato and 1/2 cup of peppers?

Hello

i only joined at the weekend and started Monday on a fixed menu from the menu tab, decided this wont work for me as it feels like a military maneuver prepping all the meals. i work long hours and so time spent in the kitchen on a daily basis will be a struggle to sustain. i figure if i loose a day at the weekend cooking and freezing the the on line recipes i stand a better chance. but i would feel safer if i could input my menu choices on the website (dont know the tab to use to do this) to calculate the positive% of the menu choices and be able to have a shopping list automatically created on line …

Is it possible to do this?

Hi, I’ve just started on the TDC eating plan and I love it so far! However, as I live alone, I’m ending up with lots of packets open that could be wasted… Could I eat the same days menu for several days at a time (until I’m bored!), or is the variety an essential part of the plan? Thanks xx

I would like to know why do I have to eat peanuts or some type of nuts each day? Aren’t they terribly high in calories.

hi can you please explain how the carb exchange works ?I am in week 2 and very confused ?
Also why does my personal menu show repeated foods each day it always has eggs and cottage cheese , for breakfast , lunch dinner – I am a non meat eater .
I have completed the fav foods and preferred as many times and nothing seems to appear on the weekly menus

Can I use Natural Quark and laughing cow extra light cheese spread?

Hi, Paul, and welcome! I’m happy to help.
Sardines are definitely a recommended food, and are in our Menu Planner food lists. We favor fresh meats over deli meats because they are less processed and so are more supportive of healthy weight management. You can slice any fresh meat to be able to fit comfortably in a sandwich.
Regarding cheddar cheese, any type is fine, as long as it is the real thing and not “processed” – we categorize it as a “hard cheese” (different from cottage and cream cheeses) and anything similar is fine as well.
As for “unlimited foods,” you can find these in the Menu Planner (https://www.trimdownclub.com/menu-planner/) under the “Free Foods” category.

What about Sardines, Can I add them to my menu? Can I eat Deli Meat instead of a pork chop or a steak for lunch? or when can I substitute deli meats in my menu? Is Sharp cheddar cheese Ok to use instead of some of the others cheeses listed? Is there a list of anytime unlimited foods anywhere on this site? I am a new subscriber and haven’t started the diet yet as I am trying to figure it all out first.
Thank you
Paul
