Hi, Norunyan – no problem!
The type of popcorn you buy, “natural salted no butter low fat” is great. However, note that Orville Redenbacher products use genetically modified corn, which has been suggested to cause weight gain.
Try to find organic popping corn, if you can.

Sorry I spelled your name wrong Ossie.I have some Orville natural salted no butter low fat I have been having occasionally. Did not know if it was ok or not.

Most of the popcorn questions are usually about microwave popcorn. If it is regular, than the recommendation is to go organic or wild. As for additives, the less the better, and regular melted butter or macadamia nut oil in a Misto (oil spray gadget) in small amounts is better than artificial butter flavoring.

Ozzie,is this microwave popcorn?

Popcorn is definitely allowed, but do try to get the “natural” flavored one without additives. 3 cups is equal to a slice of bread or 1/2 cup of grains.

Is popcorn allowed? I am addicted to it but can live without it a couple of days a week
