![]() | Hi, Karen. First, congratulations on your weight loss. Second, plateaus are quite normal. Exercise is considered to be the best way to deal with them – you can either increase your total time at each session or frequency of sessions, or if these are already quite high, changing the type of exercise to work new muscles can wake up your metabolism; if you can, it is also recommended to insert bursts of intense activity in your regular regime – for example, jogging for 30 seconds for every 5 minutes of a regular walk.
