Hi, Carold55, and welcome. I’m sorry to read of your difficulties. First, you may indeed need a little less food than is in these menus, so a happy medium between them and how you naturally eat may help. You seem to not like carbs very much, so just cut the portions in half. Other than that, there are a couple of things that may help with your appetite: The first thing is to be sure you don’t put anything in your menu you dislike, no matter how “super” it might be for health – just find healthy choices among your favorites. Second, try to think of your food as medicine, and to have set times each day to “take” it.

I am a new member and though I have tried many diets to lose weight and have succeeded to some degree, my main problem seems to be my lack of appetite. Here is an example; I can eat a Greek Yogurt with 0% milk fat in the morning with a cup of coffee and not eat or drink a single thing, except water, until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. I then might have a turkey burger without the bread. I know this is not enough food, but I just don’t get hungry. I am disabled so being active is not a possibility. What can I do? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
