Welcome, you have made a good choice with this program. I am new to the program but have done the “work” of reading everything. Being a nurse I know what I should do but being human I have strayed. Type II diabetes in most cases can be well controlled with diet and weight reduction. The menus I have looked at here have long lasting energy supplies and frequency will help to keep the hunger at bay. My best suggestion is to read the material. Start with the quick start & 14 day plan. Don’t get discouraged because you both will be so much better off (medically) on this type of plan. If you need additional help and want to talk with someone there is the Dietitian Online tab on the upper right hand of the webpage. There is a per minute charge to speak with these consultants so you might want to give the quick start & 14 day plan a try then use their help to tweak & customize if you still need their help. Just a newbie here…sending you some encouragement your way. Patty
