| | Hi, to all. No, bananas are definitely not bad for you! They are nutritionally quite dense, and so each is considered two fruit exchanges, though with a surprisingly moderate effect on blood sugar and therefore belly fat. You can read more about this superfood in our article here: https://www.trimdownclub.com/superfood-banana-2/. |
| | So bananas are bad for you? I never ate any fruits daily until I joined, and I bought bananas and have been eating a cup of them a day, along with apples, and strawberries.. Are bananas really bad??!?!! I don’t have enough money to follow my meal plan daily so I eat a cup of fruit, a cup of greens, and protien to try to balance things. |
| | I too am new and the only reason I stumbled upon this site was because of a banana! I was downloading some soup recipes and saw a line about bananas adding fat to your middle! Is that true??? I usually eat a banana every day!! Is that one of the reasons I can’t shed all my belly fat?? Seriously! |
| | I am also new, and would like to have better understanding of what the right combination your are are suppose to have for breakfast lunch and dinner so if have to substitute you can |
| | Hi, mayrajaime83. Are you using the Menu Planner application or the “Feeling Lucky” feature? |
| | Hi, dani100. A good source for healthy prepared meals and meal courses is Trader Joe’s. |
| | Also new. The meal plan seems to be all out of whack. It seems to randomly list food items, sometimes up to 4 and none of which would go together. It also seems like it will be VERY expensive to keep up the meal plan. Can someone shed some light on how the meal plan works? |
| | I have just joined and I really need an advise where to buy health food plates. I don’t have time to cook myself. |
| | Hi, jennio4, and welcome. Don’t worry about the actual foods before you have a chance to shop. Other benefits of the Menu Planner application include portion sizing, food combining, and meal scheduling, and beyond that, you can benefit from the food preparation techniques recommended in the program overview (https://www.trimdownclub.com/product/trimdownclub-program, chapter 3). |
| | Hi there, I have joined today and hoping to stick to the plan, however as I don’t have everything in the house it is hard to stick with what the plan has generated for me without shopping for it first! ( my little boy is off school sick so can’t even go shopping!). My main concern is, it seems like an awful lot of food! As I don’t have everything in I have had to go with a ready meal (low fat) as my lunch option, however the plan is also telling me to have 1 egg, 30g Ham, 1/2 cup of pasta and free vegetables. This can’t be right surely? All for lunch! As I don’t have a lot of time to read through it all (should be working) can anyone give me some quick advise for today and hopefully i will have some time to read and get my head around it later. Many Thanks |
