Hi, barbiebella. That’s wonderful! Each 8 fluid ounces or 240 ml is a protein + a carb.
By the way, I’m curious how it is “allowed on a vegan diet” – is it based on vegetal milk?

I have been using ,”growing”, milk kefir for 2 1/2 years now.Went off of it during the 1st 4 mo.while on liquid diet but started getting many colds/flu. Have started using it again since starting to eat real food , but nutritionally, am at a loss to how to catagorize it. Love the taste & feel confident about all the probiotic benefit it provides. Since it is a fermented milk product & is allowed on vegan diet, any idea on how it would be used for exchanges ( protein,fat,carbs)? Thanks, Barbiebella.
