| | Just go easy on the oil! Try using a nonstick pan, and see if you can saute instead of deep fry. |
| | Hi, arthaway. What you’re planning sounds great. Regarding Indian foods, the menus lists are set up for you to choose the ingredients, and you can prepare them as you wish. For example, in the case of the rendang, try to choose a lean meat (noted in lighter blue), and you’ll see coconut milk in the fats, spices are always free, and you can count the onions toward a “vegetable of your choice,” as appears in your menu; for the papadums, lentils are in the lists, and again, spices are free (and encouraged). |
| | My menus gave me wine with dinner twice this week and i get chocolate a few times as a snack. Also look at the exchange list, you may be able to make a swap. |
| | Hi Butterflykris and Ossie-Sharon, Thank you for your comments. That really makes it a lot easier. For instance today I have several things that I have right here, but the two main meals, lunch and dinner, I would need to shop and also cook which today I do not have time for. |
| | Hi, all. You can definitely mix up the days and the meals – whatever makes you happy. Just be sure to eat the most when you’re most active (a protein-rich breakfast is always a good idea), and don’t let too much time elapse between meals, and we do recommend to have a protein with a carbohydrate, to keep your blood sugar balanced. |
| | Arthaway, This is the answer I got. |
| | I would also like to know that answer. I find it hard to stick to an entire days menu and sometimes switch either a meal or a snack from another day. |
| | Is it ok to mix up the days from my menu? Can I switch Mondays menu for Fridays or if I like a days menu can I repeat that day a few times that week? |
