![]() | Hi, Terry. As a rule of thumb, most suggested serving sizes are 1/2-1 cup, depending on what else you are eating at the same time. The Menu Planner will work out how much best fits into your recommended daily plan. |
![]() | Since I am required to put in my height, weight, age etc I assume that this information is used to develop the correct intake of foods for me to lose some weight. For me the menus are not usable unless I plan on cooking all day and what do I do with all the leftovers after I\’ve taken my half cup from an eight serving portion. I certainly agree on the ground rules for food choices but how do I by pass the menu planner while incorporating the right quantity of food. |

![]() | I wonder about the recipes provided, some of which are highlighted in blue onthe menu planner. Many say 4-8 servings–that doesn’t nail it down very much to determine how much I should eat and how much my husband should eat. Also, many of the recipes don’t give a serving size at all. |
![]() | Hi again, Carmel. I have forwarded your questions to our tech support team. |
![]() | The program developers are working on a shopping list application. Thanks for the input! |
![]() | hi ossie. thank you for your reply. I am having so many problems with this website today ists unbelieveable..can you please tell me in relpy to the portions_ ie two protions of the chicken dish- how many portions are in the whole recipe. I have searched all recipes and cant find how many protions each dis makes. eg also banana brown butter bread.if I have to make something and divide it we need to know how many it is for to start with. I may seem daft but I assure you I am not and ther is noting to tell you how many protions each meal divide in on the recipes.please help as I really want this to work and dont feel all that confidant in this at moment. also concerned as a topic entered is now not on website?? |
![]() | I just joined today and would love for the menu planner to generate a grocery list each week. That would make it soooo much easier. |
![]() | Hi, Kayla. Thanks for your input. I have forwarded your comments to our tech support team. In the meantime, remember that you can always swap out individual foods in your menu by clicking on the button next to it. |
![]() | I just joined today, and after making my first menu, I tend to agree with some of the negative comments above. What am I supposed to do with the mustard in this “snack” (which looks like a whole breakfast to me, by the way.) Also, one meal had both mashed potatoes and brown rice. Another meal had stuffing and another starch. I am diabetic and this looks like way too many carbs for one meal. I understand the two types of carbs, but I don’t think that rice and potatoes or bread should be mixed in the same meal. |
![]() | Hi, Carmel. If you get combinations you don’t like, you can change individual items in your menu by clicking on the swap out icon next to them. As for the issue of 2 portions of a recipe – note that a single portion is generally half what the average person eats, just in case people want more variety at their meal. As for the foods, they are available in England and through the web. The following are some links you may find helpful: Natural Food Finder (UK) Goodness Direct – “Shop By Aisle” (UK) Healthy Supplies (UK) Seeds of Health (UK) Athleat (UK)
Grass-Feed Beef Now (UK) Green Pasture Farms (UK) Whitfield Farm Organics (UK) Grass-Fed Meats (UK) Breadlink – The Home of Organic Sprouted Flours (UK) ◾London Chapter Resource List: Raw milk directory with listings of other foods, compiled by London Chapter Leader of the Weston A. ![]() | Is it worth joining this website??? Or just a waste of time & money! |
![]() | i did not get products I dont eat, but got so many suggestions individually or in receipes with ingredients not available in england unless lucky to live with specialist shops on your doorstep. also the combinations given on the menus are bizzar, and the amounts like suggesting having two portions of “almond chicken apricot delight on one meal”.i am at the moment feeling cheated as i feel that it just ramdomly plonks food anywhere on your planner just to fill it up.what would you suggest I do to make the following tasty, a bowl of porridge with 1 frankfurter,a tomato, an egg all as a snack at one sitting- yuck!also please answer this- recipes dont tell you how many to divide into for portions- eg banana brown butter bread? |
