Hi, Kim. I’m so glad to read you’re doing well! I wish you more success and health 🙂

Hi, Ratika. Of course! Are you using the Menu Planner application option in which you can select what foods to include in your menu? If you are and still getting only rice, note that you can swap it out for other options by clicking on the rice – a dialog box of other carbs will pop up, and you can select one there.

I too have a metabolism issue and I believe it is all related now to my thyroid. I have Hoshomoto’s disease(probably misspelled), and so I have no hormone in my body at any time. I am on synthroid recently, but still having issues losing one pound while dieting. I have noticed with this program that I am able to lose about .5 pounds per week and I have to think eating healthy, exercising 3-4 days a week is going to pay off at some point. The opposite cannot be an option any longer. So, hormones and thyroid are the two biggies in my opinion for why metabolism starts decreasing or comes to a halt, and for some there is no jump start. It’s a matter of diligence and consistency. Which is where I’m at. I refuse to let this stop me from having the health I want. I’m pressing through regardless.

Hi,
How do i increase metabolism? I eat plenty of fibre in a day. Also, i make sure intake of atleast 5 fruits. Still doesn’t really help increase my metabolism. 🙁

What am i doing wrong? I follow the menu and make sure there is always protein along with carbs in my meal.
