Many of the foods are actually from around the world (and available in the UK) but less known because they are less mass-produced, which means they tend to be more nutritious and therefore supportive of healthy weight management. As far as the combinations go, please do take advantage of the swap function, if you wish – simply click on a food item you want to change in your menu, and a list of nutritionally-similar foods will pop up from which you can choose. Hi – I just joined the site and I have clicked on my food choices – I am in UK so it was a bit weird as I wasn’t expecting it to be so American.
I seem to have generated a plan but it’s just a random selection of food stuff, not recipes or things that actually go together or fit the meal time.

Any tips gratefully received. 🙂
