![]() | It’s great to read that you are not hungry, but I hope you feel better soon. We do encourage you to go with your body’s signals and not stuff yourself by force. You can cut back some portions – we recommend starting with the starchy carbohydrate foods. It’s best to preserve the protein foods and fruits/vegetables. |
![]() | I just finished week 2. I lost 8 pounds this week. I am not sure if it is because I am sick, I sleep late, and I am taking a steroid that lasts 10 days or if it is how I adjusted the portions of each meal. The problem I am having is that I get full long before I finish eating each meal. I am definitely not hungry at all when it is time to eat again. By the time I get to the afternoon snack I can hardly eat because I am already so full. Dinner is the same way. Each meal is about 2-3 hours apart. Maybe my portions are still to large. |
![]() | Thank you so much. I am anxious to try it. |
![]() | Hi, Ms. Broussard. I’m very glad to read that you are starting to be active and drinking lots of water. Rebuilding healthy tissue is key here. |
![]() | Thanks for the 2 great suggestions. I never exercised to lose 42 pounds in a year. It was just a high protein, low fat, low sodium diet and 10 cups of water a day and lots of vitamins. My daughter and I are home for the summer. She has been walking a mile every afternoon and wants me to be her partner. I can’t figure out where you got my goal weight of 81.81 from. It sounds like an odd amount.I was hoping to lose around 30 more pounds to start off and then see how it goes from there. I tried to find it to change it, but I didn’t see it in any category. |
![]() | Your body’s reaction is quite normal if you were previously on such a restrictive diet. Your metabolism has simply slowed, and it may take several weeks for your body to get used to normal amounts of food again. Because of the huge difference, I would suggest to bring down the amount of food in your menu by entering a goal weight of 81.6 (just 0.21 lower than your current goal weight) as your current weight. |
![]() | I gained a lot of weight this week. I have been eating 600-700 calories per day for a year. Now that I have tried this way which is closer to 2000 calories, I seem to be going backwards.(17 pounds) |
