And, I am not sure how the “exchanges” and “servings” match..Is it ok to have a whole glass of skimmed milk for breakfast and 30 gr of cheese for a snack in a day, or am I still missing one serving here? |

![]() | Hi, kenboogie. If it is a dairy product, it is better to add it to another meal. Other than that, you can skip some foods. What is important is that each day you have at least five total fruit/vegetable servings and three total calcium-rich food/beverage servings. Overall, it is best that you stay in tune with your satiety signals and not eat past them. |
![]() | Hi, Emmasr211. Produce is not a problem, as there are plenty of vegetables in the rest of the menu. If you skip a snack with a dairy product in it, just make sure that by the end of the day, you have had at least three servings of calcium-rice food/beverages. |

![]() | Hi Ossie-Sharon, I am now skipping one of the snacks, as you suggested, but I am concerned that I may not be eating all the calories or nutrients that the system assigned to me when I filled out the questionnaire, and that this might affect the results of my diet… |

![]() | Hi, Emmasr200. You can indeed cut back on some of the vegetable servings, as long as you get a total of five fruit/vegetable servings each day. Another thing that may help is to extend your eating period to something like 10 hours. Just for clarification, our intermittent fasting plan features just three eating opportunities – so you can, for example, eat every three hours (once before work and then either twice at work or once at work and once immediately after work). I hope that makes things easier. |
![]() | After filling out the form in Facebook I have been given a TDC diet with intermittent fasting, which is fine. However, the amounts of food in short periods of time are too much for me. Besides, it is difficult to eat 4 times in 8 hourse and organize these meals when you have to eat AT WORK. I want to skip DINNER, I don’t want to change that, but do I need to eat those amounts? Can I have half a tomato instead of a whole one, for example? I thought it was going to be difficult to fast, but now I see it is much more difficult to eat again when you are already full! |
