Hi, harrislindsay303. Yours is such a common challenge! …but not insurmountable. First, try to get rid of the snacks around your area, and replace the habit with a warm beverage like tea (or whatever you like) with a high-quality no-carbohydrate sweetener like Stevia/erythritol. Second, you can keep yourself from being bored by exercising at your desk between tasks, on breaks, whenever – little bits here and there throughout the day really do add up. This is the first time I have worked in a position where I literally sit all day. Before working in a call center I always did CNA work, so I was active for 8 plus hours constant a day. I have gained so much weight since working here. I also tend to like to snack while sitting (think its a boredom thing). So ideas on one…quick easy snacks for desk work and also anything i could do while just sitting here.
