![]() | Hi, David714. Each meal has a different limit, and it depends on the recipes in your menus. You are allotted a total of 110 grams of protein per day, and it can come from a variety of sources, including chicken/turkey and fish. At each meal, you are allotted 30-40 grams of protein, and at the snack, 10 grams. Each ounce of chicken/poultry of fish provides an average of 7 grams of protein, which means you can have about 4-5 ounces per meal (and as often as you wish). However, keep in mind that the most important aspect of a ketogenic plan is to have more fat than the amount of protein+carbohydrate combined. That means that for every gram of protein, you need to be sure to have one or more grams of fat. |

![]() | Hi, David714. Beef, poultry, fish, and similar items can generally be switched in the same amounts, ounce for ounce. You can have them as often as you like. |
