Packet? Which brand? The most common is Hovis. If so, it is not sprouted whole grain, and does contain some less desirable ingredients. In general, gomemade bread is excellent with the right ingredients because you can leave out preservatives. You can use a recipe for a machine and substitute the flour with sprouted whole grain flour, which you can purchase here http://www.breadlink.co.uk/.

Hey, just very new to this, I left a message somewhere on the site yesterday re the above, can’t find where it was….lol… anyway can some please tel me if packet grannary bread you get from the store that you make in your machine is ok, not sure if it’s classed as SWG, a term new to me….
