Hi, Medusa65, and welcome! You may find the e-companionship you’re seeking in our Group Forums. The most active forum is “Successful Beginnings.”
With regard to the exercise issue, I highly recommend to work out at home. You can find ideas for workouts at the end of each odd week in our “8-Week” Program (link on the main site page), as well as through the links below:

Ok a newbie, just signed up and should know this as a nurse but I’m 65 and have a sedentary life here in Alaska in the dark and cold! Holidays, my job and difficult family dynamics have my cortisol through the roof I’m sure. Go out to dinner and friend parties. Help! I really need to lose 100 pounds and I know it is going to take a while and don’t want to wait until Jan 1st New Years resolutions with the rest of the world. I need a jump start and want to be the hot looking grandma at my grand daughter’s graduation in a couple of years. Any older people who live in the snow out there for support? Getting out and walking on the ice and dark is not an option up here!
