Ossie-Sharon 6 years ago | Hi, Kathy. Yes! Up to 2 tablespoons is 1 fat exchange. |
kathybruce@bex.net 6 years ago | Can I use 1/2 and 1/2 in exchange for a fat? |
leahwarren43 6 years ago | Got ya ok thank you. |
Ossie-Sharon 6 years ago | Hi, Leah. Every time you see a fat exchange at the meal you wish to have cream, that’s where you make the swap. For example, you would have it instead of butter at breakfast; where you have nuts at breakfast, just reduce the nut serving to half – instead of 1/2 ounce (=1/4 cup or 60 ml), have 1/4 ounce (=2 tablespoons or 30 ml). |
leahwarren43 6 years ago | What do i take off my morning meal to have this? |
Ossie-Sharon 6 years ago | Hi, Leah. Each fat exchange is 5 grams of fat (with less than a gram of protein or carbohydrates). For heavy cream, each tablespoon (15 ml) is a fat exchange. |
leahwarren43 6 years ago | what is the fat exchange? and its not in your exchange list how do I exchange it? |
