Ossie-Sharon 10 years ago | Hi, operagirl. Indeed, some nutrient insufficiencies have been linked to hair loss. The most common of these include zinc, iodine, and omega-3 fatty acids. However, it is recommended to have the issue evaluated by health care professionals – everyone is different, and it is best to try to find the root cause, if possible. If not, then nutrition is something you can work with yourself. |
operagirl 10 years ago | I am currently, at age 60, losing my hair. Whenever I wash it, I retrieve a quarter sized diameter of hair strands. This has been going on for almost one year. I can see bald spots on my head. I’m wondering if nutrition could be related to that. |
