Hi, dlcruz. Advocare has an artificial sweetener, which we wouldn’t generally recommend. If you can find one that is more natural (i.e. CostCo’s Orgain, or Garden of Life), that would be preferred. Adding greens is always an excellent idea, and snacktime is best best for these types of shakes.

I use Advocare products, either meal replacement or muscle gain. I use muscle gain because of the protein content.
Also what is the best time to take this shake as I am adding greens.

Hi, dlcruz. Green shakes are great. The one you’re describing looks like it has 1 carb, 1 fruit, and 1 vegetable exchange, plus a protein exchange for the yogurt or cottage cheese. What protein powder are you using?

A few months ago I started drinking green shakes daily, I have noticed a considerable decrease in my arthritis pain. Wondering if you can convert this drink into exchange mode. I was drinking for breakfast but need to know where I can add this to my diet.
I can change it up but it usually contains, 1 cup of greens, (kale or spanich, beet greens etc). fruit, green energy (a gluten free product ). this product gives me antioxidant, enzyme, fiver contands greens and vegetables. 30 cal. per scoop, ofat, o cholesterol, 7g carb, 3 fiber 1 g sugar 1g protein, its organic.
I also add super food super reds organic blend of antioxidant berries. it has per serving, 20 cal, 1 g fat, 4 g carb, 1 g sugar, 4 g fiber.
I add 8 oz of water ice and sometimes yogurt or cottage cheese or a protein powder.
