This program is designed to help balance blood sugar levels. The basic principles are to avoid simple sugars and refined foods, eat lots of fiber and protein, drink lots of water, and eat small meals throughout the day instead of a few large ones.

Hi All,

I have been asked to complete a 2 hour GTT after returning a reading of 5.5 from a fasting blood test. I require the results to be low as this O’s for a work medical. I was wondering if anybody has any tips on what I should be eating or doing prior to my test.

I would also like to know what to do to bring this level down long term.

I am a male 171cm/5ft,6in and 88kg/194lbs

Look forward to some advice.
