![]() | Hi, Gerd. True – there are indeed two different types of persimmons, and the large ones would be one for an exchange instead of two small ones. |
![]() | I just looked up in ‘google images’ the persimmon-fruit. Yes we are on the same fruit. Sorry, should have done this before! But it still leaves me wonder with the exchange suggestions: 2 (two) persimmon instead the 1 (one) pear in my menu plan. |
![]() | Hi Ossie-Sharon. Thanks for your replay. I changed in my menu planer 1 pear to another fruit and choose persimmons. Now I wonder if we are on the same fruit. Because the exchange says 2 persimmons. The Kaki (Sharon fruit) we can buy here are the size of a big apple and the color is orange/red. The average weight is around 220-240 gr. They are very sweet. The texture of the Kaki is so soft that we have to handle them carefully (they grow en mass in France) and the texture of the Sharon fruit is hard like a pear. They are from the same family. |
![]() | Hi, GerdaBenz. Congratulations on your weight loss! We wish you continued success here. |
![]() | I’m started week 5. I think I do well enough. lost 3 kg. But I have a big problem with not having more fruits/day in the menu planer. I was used to eat at least 3 fruits a day. Also I can’t find Kaki (Sharon fruit) and pomelo on the list. My favorites during the wintertime. If I would increase the fruits to 3 a day would that slow down my weight loss or even increase it again? |
