Hi, monisjane. It depends what the spread is. Mustard and horseradish can be used freely. Other that are “free” because of the limited amount in which they are used will add up and lead to an imbalance if used too much. If you would really like to use the free spreads several times a day, just cut something else out of your day. Using your current menu as an example, have just half the bread/muffin/bagel option at breakfast, or leave out the nuts (unless you want to swap them for nut butter).

Can I add free spread, each time i eat bread or muffin? irrespective of it being mentioned or not in my menu?
