Yes, water exercise,stretching, and light resistance training with static contractions is one of the best but it also is dependent upon the joint mobility as well as range of motion movement. Yoga is great for mild cases and even in severe cases if done in short amounts of time. The main goal is for you not to hurt more severely during or after the exercise. Getting the heart rate up for a length of time with minimal pain and discomfort is the goal for fat loss and that is why swimming is so excellent! It take the pressure off the joints while raises your heart rate. Even just treading water burns calories and gets your heart pumping! Keep it up ladies! the things I’ve heard and seen suggest we keep moving (gently). Water exercise is suggested.

I’m new. I .too. have fibromyalgia. wondering if you got an answer?
