![]() | I keep making my menu for the week and not sure how to go back into it ??? |
![]() | Just about all of the starchy carb options can be gluten-free if you choose the gluten-free option at the store (whole grains, etc.). In addition, there are rice products in the same categories, along with quinoa. |
![]() | I don’t know how this will fit into the diet, but if you are making home made gluten free bread (easy with breadmaker and pre-mixed flours), replace the yeast packet that comes with the pre-mix with regular yeast like Fleschman’s (? spelling) and replace the water amount in the recipe with apple juice. The yeast needs more sugar to make batter rise. This will usually give you a nice lighter, not doughy and sticky, slice of bread. You don’t taste the apple in the finished product. |
![]() | This does not seem to cover what I asked as to why there are no Gluten free options in the bread section almost all the cereal options are not gluten free . Options need to be expanded and healthier options not fast food options these should be a minimum to have a healthy diet. |
![]() | Hi, Leslie. Yes – you can choose gluten-free bread. Just make sure it is low on additives and is as whole grain as possible. Good luck! |
![]() | I am new to Trim Down Club! I’m trying to pick out my foods and I have been gluten free for two years now, and am pretty informed. There aren’t gluten free choices under breads. IS GF bread allowed? the brand available here is UDI’s. Thank you in advance. I would appreciate any input from you all out there! I am in California..thanks!! |
![]() | Elaine, most of the foods in the Menu Planner are gluten-free, even if they are not stated as such, and you can always substitute with gluten free options – i.e. “100% whole grain” can mean any grain, etc. |
![]() | HI there- I am new to the trim down club. I have celiac disease so am looking for more gluten free choices on the menu planner. |
![]() | Prince, the same thing happened to me and it was because I hadn’t choosen enough items in the categories. If it says to choose 6 protein (for example) and you didn’t then it won’t let to continue. Maybe check that. |
![]() | Hello Maryla, The “Express 14-Day Meal Plan” is also available for your use at any time in the “My Downloads” area. Kind Regards, |
