Hi, Tbone. Sorry for the delay. The best thing to do is to ask the healthcare professional familiar with your case what your limitations might be – especially because the specific location of the procedure in your spine can make all the difference, as can the degree of strength you have in your abdominal muscles).

I can fast walk, and I have a punchin bag hanging in the shop which powers you up really fast, but I was really wondering about push-ups, sit-ups, etc with my back problems. I must say it is really in good shape tho as the surgery was back in June. I just don’t want to do anything that might put me back in BAD shape…lol

Recently last June I had fusion surgery on my back. This was the third back surgery in about 15 years that ive had. I need to exercise but so far im a little scared to do anything other than walk. I heavy walk about a mile or so each day. Is there some other kind of strength training I can do to keep built up? That back thing really hurt so I do not want to take a chance of going thru that again… Im commited to this plan tho and so far ive been on it for about 5 days now and lost already 5 lbs. Rock on.. im very interested in seeing the replies on this…
