Hopefully you are receiving care from a phsyician or nurse practitioner for your condition. Often a special diet is recommended – low in acidic, spicy, and gas-inducing foods such as cabbage and related vegetables and beans – but it can be very individual according to a person’s own tolerance/intolerance. This diet can definitely work for you, as the daily menus are built with your own food choices, whatever they may need to be. Further, this diet is based on unprocessed whole foods, which have maximum enzyme activity and therefore should spare your digestive system of the need to overproduce acid and gas.

I have lots of indigestion and excesive belching, will this diet work for me? I have issues with too much acid in stomach, medication for acid reduction does not help. Do you have any suggestions for me?
