Hi, Jeny. Don’t worry about foods with which you are unfamiliar. As long as you understand what food group they are in, you can just swap in high-quality versions – for example, instead of quinoa, you can use whole brown rice; instead of brown rice pasta, whole wheat pasta; instead of sprouted whole grain bread, just 100% whole grain bread, etc. Many of our articles describe the advantages of whole, unrefined foods, as well as some of the newer foods. As long as you avoid refined, overly processed foods and focus on whole foods in good portions and combinations, you’ll be fine.

plus I live in a very rural farming area and a lot of these ingredients aren’t available here. I already feel as if I’ve wasted my money.. HELP

I just signed up and checked out the recipe section I must say I was kinda disappointed. I’m a country girl and don’t know a lot of what some of this stuff is. Is there a more southern section, lol….
