Hi, jestewart. We recommend the type of brand you would find at a health-oriented store like Whole Foods Market or Trader Joe’s, made with whole grains and little-to-no artificial additives. The following is an example of one of the better ingredients lists:
ORGANIC WHEAT FLOUR, ORGANIC WHOLE WHEAT GRAHAM FLOUR, ORGANIC CANE SUGAR. ORGANIC VEGETABLE OILS (SAFFLOWER OR SUNFLOWER), ORGANIC HONEY. ORGANIC MOLASSES, ORGANIC CINNAMON, LEAVENING (BAKING SODA. AMMONIUM BICARBONATE), SEA SALT, CREAM OF TARTAR.
