Ossie-Sharon 9 years ago | Hi, golfrxdob. Pepitas are great, and are listed in the Menu Planner lists as “Pumpkin Seeds,” in the Nuts & Seeds subcategory of the Protein category. |

Support 9 years ago | Hi Jfishaw, We here you and completely understand. We are in the process of making the website more user friendly for smartphones and tablets. Best 🙂 |
Support 9 years ago | Hi kweed, Thanks for your feedback. It really helps us improve our program! If you make changes to a previously created menu, the changes will be saved and a new menu will be added to your menu history (My Menus Area under Apps). The main difference between the Favorite Food Menu and the Personal Menu Planner is that the Personal Menu Planner gives you more flexibility and has many tasty recipes within the food lists. Additionally, if you are looking to build menus based on exchanges, please see our full list of exchanges for individual foods: https://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists. Best 🙂 |
Jfishaw 9 years ago | I agree! I find it very difficult to navigate from page to page. I use an IPad and find myself leaving my internet source open 24/7. I too have had a similar experience with the menu I chose and edited “disappearing” when I go to another page or if I shut the Internet down for the night, I can’ find it again (not even in the menu history). This is not a user friendly site at all, but I will persevere as I am serious about my need for weight loss! Hopefully someone from the program will read this and offer suggestions! A mobile app would be nice! |
kweed 9 years ago | I, too, am dissappointed. I have done the longer more complicated “meall planner”, but it doesn’t seem to be any different than the shorter, “easier” one. Is there anyplace I can make my own menu by exchanges? Every time I get a menue for a couple of days the way I want it ( more or less), I leave that screen and when I come back and it has reverted to the original. Also, I make changes on my tablet and then can’t access those changes on my smart phone, and vice versa. Help, I am spending all day fooling with this computer. Help!!! I like the principle, but don’need the frustration. |
Support 9 years ago | Hi DJWright, Thank you for raising this issue. It is not the first time a customer has asked and we’re happy to explain. The Trim Down Club has several strategic partnerships that are based on mutual interests and Ossie Sharon, our chief nutritionist, has personally reviewed and approved them all. Furthermore, many of us here at the Trim Down Club have taken these supplements and/or tried out these programs with success. While we do get a commission for promoting these products, this is done to help offset our onetime low fee. Plus it’s important to remember that no two people are alike and weight loss is a complex issue. We know firsthand that some of our members have excelled thanks in part to these programs. Therefore we encourage every member to review their own goals and to decide if supplementary systems are right for them. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to write back and Ossie will be happy to help 🙂 |
DJWright 9 years ago | Hi there, I have also been disappointed here, but I wanted to ask if everyone got the regular 30 or 45 minute video or email adverts for pills of one form or another, and has anyone agreed to take the pills for the rest of their lives.? |
Support 9 years ago | Hello Dingle65, It looks like you would do best using the full Personal Menu Planner application, which is full of tasty recipes. For recipes that don’t appear in the Personal Menu Planner, simply find a Menu Planner recipe or food that is most similar to what you want—either by comparing exchanges or noting the various types of ingredients—and select it as a place-saver for the system. When it comes time to prepare your meal, make the swap. This can also work with your own personal recipes. For example, if you are interested in Cheap and Flexible Lentil Stew, one of our newer additions, note that it yields 2 carb + 2 protein exchanges per serving, the same as for Tomato Broccoli Cheesy Potato Bake, which appears in the Menu Planner lists. In another example, if you have a homemade chicken-vegetable soup you’d like to make, chances are it fits with the combination found in our Chicken Soup for the Gods—even if it isn’t a perfect match, it is more than likely sufficient. If you wish to incorporate a more unusual recipe, such as our Paleo Nut Stuffing, note that unless you have a specific medical condition, you can swap carbs for proteins (1 carb for 1 protein exchange) or fats (1 carb for 2 fat exchanges). Additionally, and just as important using the switch a meal feature, you have the ability to easily add recipes to your menu. Best 🙂 |
Dingle65 9 years ago | Hi there, When I signed up, I expected that my personalised menu would give me a recipe for lunch and dinner but in fact it just seems to give a list of ingredients, e.g. beef, rice & 2 veg. This is very disappointing for me as I am used to cooking proper tasty meals from basic ingredients every day. Is there a way that I can persuade the menu planner to give me a recipe for lunch and dinner each day? If not, is there a way I can get my money back please?! I really do want to stay because I really do want to lose weight, but the advertising said there were hundreds of recipes and these do not appear to be integrated with the personalised menu planner, which I’m finding very disappointing. I already have lots of healthy recipe books on my shelf so if that’s all you are offering then I kind of wish I’d never signed up… Please help if you can. Thanks |
