 caschroeder 10 years ago | Unfortunately it’s not that easy. 1 cup equals 8 fluid ounces but a fluid ounce is not necessarily equivalent to a ounce weight. This is how it works: 1 cup = 8 fluid ounces = 8 ounces by weight of water. Other foods have different weights per “cup” due to density, etc. so there is no easy conversion for anything other then water since a “cup” is a volume measurement and ounces is a weight measurement. Sorry. |
