Hi, RedBird10. That is the general direction – it is also advised to leave out any baking soda or powder that may be in the recipe.

Has any one used the SwG bread and made a tortilla or pocket?
Could you just leave out yeast and cook flat?

Hi, Fishing. 100% whole grain bread is definitely the next best thing.

Hi, Ossie. I know SWG is best, but for me Not at this time. Just trying to find out what is best sub?

Hi,Ossie. I can eat anything. 100% whole grain is better. Correct?

Ossie-Sharon 12 years ago

Hi, Fishing. The grain depends on your own sensitivities and preferences. If you are gluten-intolerant, you will want to find a whole-grain bread without wheat. Sometimes “whole grain” breads have combinations of grains, which is best, but whole wheat is also fine.

What is better 100% whole wheat or 100% whole grain?

Ossie-Sharon 12 years ago

The 100% whole wheat is best – the “100%” is a very important indicator.
