BMI ideal?
![]() | Hi DaisyDew, Thank you so much for replying so quickly, you have been a great help. |
![]() | Hi Tish đ I donât know if this website has a statistical chart to show you what your ideal weight should be, however, you can keep track of your daily weight and BMI through this website. After you have logged into the website: At the top of the âHome-Pageâ click on your Username: It is right after: âHelloâ If you want to upload a pic of yourself â click on âChange Avatarâ. Iâm positive you know what an Avatar is â but in case . . . An avatar image is the small square photo image that appears next to a personâs post. Just follow the instructions. After doing all of the above â on your âMembersâ page you should have all the pertinent info: ie., FROM-HEIGHT-WEIGHT-MY AGE IS-GOAL and your HOBBIES. Now: Near the top of the page are selections: Home; Apps; Recipes . . . etc., Click on: Apps Each day (from this app) you may âupdateâ your BMI by imputing your new weight information. It doesnât have to be in âwholeâ numbers either â you may impute (for example): 185.50 then click on âUpdateâ (Note: you may update from the âMembersâ page also.) The BMI meter at the website is âkind-enuffâ NOT to put us in the categories of being either â overweight or obese â but it you would like to know the medical category you are in, you may go to: http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/guidelines/obesity/BMI/bmicalc.htm Just copy the above link and paste it into your browser and follow the instructions given. I hope this has been helpful for you! Janie Just copy and paste in your search engine (browser): http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/info/obesity/how-much-should-i-weigh.php Have a great day! đ |
![]() | Hi I joined today, is there anywhere on the site that will let me know what my ideal weight is, and what my BMI is for my current weight, thank you. |
![]() | Hi, bufight. Very true! We selected the standard BMI measurement here to match the folks who joined. Measuring body fat is rather more involved, and may very well be an option for us in the future. |
![]() | Wouldn’t body fat percentage be a better indicator of overall fitness for a muscular build? So many of today’s top tier athletes would be considered obese by BMI standards. |
![]() | Hi, Frankie456. An ideal BMI for someone who is not very, very muscular is about 18.5â24.9 kg/m2. |
![]() | Hi, I’m new to this~joined yesterday~ and am trying to figure it all out. I know what my goal weight is but what is the ideal BMI? Thanks. đ |
