Hi, NadineSchollar. An ounce (28 g) of any cheese or 1/2 ounce (14 g) of nuts or seeds can substitute for the cottage cheese, and 8 fluid ounces (240 ml) of milk or 1/2 cup of legumes can substitute for the yogurt. If you want non-dairy options, you can select “Dairy-Free” in your profile to eliminate those items.
If you are not already, you can also use the full Menu Planner application to select the foods that work for you and avoid the ones that don’t in your menus.

Question regarding yogurt * I cannot keep this in my tummy.. I also detest cottage cheese, although eating it did not make me ill. The menu exchanges do not give me any exchange for yogurt or cottage cheese. What can I use to replace the nutrition values for these products. Nadine. (p.s. I even tried to “get used to yogurt with 1tble spoonful at a time”. It did not work.)
