Hi, garlicgrower1941. No particular reason – it just happened to work out that way. You can swap in beef/red meat for any type of animal protein food (fish, chicken, turkey) in your menu.

At the beginning of the program there was an allowance of beef on several of the menus. I have been following the menu plans as outlined for the program and made individual adjustments along the way as recommended. However, for many week now (currently going to start menu # 20) there is no indication that beef is part of the program. Is there a reason for this? I do on occasion like to have beef as an alternative instead of 2 or 3 days of turkey or chicken. Is red meat of no no completely?
