BONITAG.
Thanks for the information, but I had problems with the second web site.
You need to put a full-stop after the “www” otherwise the site will not work.

Hi, Lindy, and thanks bonitag. You can find conversions for measurements here: https://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists.

https://www.trimdownclub.com/where-to-buy-uk. One site, http://wwwgoodnessdirect.co.uk, has great, concise explanations of the foods.
I just happened to see this! I hope this helps! I only check out the group successful beginnings, so I really don’t have the time to check out the whole site! Best wishes Bonita! I do know sometime when a post is made no one sees it!

I see someone else has asked this question, but has had no reply yet (I don’t think it was long ago she asked)
I too am British, although I live in Spain where shopping is a nightmare! Until a few years ago, maybe 5 or 6 years, there were no “low cal” or reduced sugar, reduced salt or anything else! Let alone knowing if something is grass-fed. I did have a laugh when I saw Cottage cheese “grass-fed” I’m sure other British people will have the same picture in their minds, lol We are getting better, perhaps in the holiday towns on the coast it is better for variety, I live in the mountains in a smallish town.

One thing I do have is a set of “Cups” to measure with, but unless it is rice, or sugar etc, how can you measure fruit or veg in cups? could you please put some sort of weight on the recipe lists?

I read on one of the other answers when you were asked if this site was American, or English, you said this site was International, I think you will find it is only the US who weighs in CUPS. The rest of the world is either metric or imperial measurements.

PLEASE; PLEASE weigh in something we can understand, although I am trying to do my best with this site, when I do find a food, and I know what it is, it says a “slice of Shredded Wheat” what on earth is a slice? In another recipe it says 1/2 cup Shredded Wheat, How do you get a Shredded Wheat in a cup? Sorry but it does seem to make this way of eating very difficult to follow for us “British”
