Dr. Karen Herbst recommends a dieting protocol know as the RAD diet, and provides a list of foods to eat and avoid, but there is no actual meal plan out there for this type of diet. In several of her seminars, she suggests sufferers be prescribed metformin and follow a low glycemic, sodium, fat, carb diet. That whole food, keto, or anti-inflammatory diets coupled with intermittent fasting as shown some success in managing lipedema symptoms. BUT diet, exercise, and supplements to include prescription meds do little to nothing at reducing the lipedema fat.

So my question here is:

Is there anyone else in here that is a non-diabetic struggling with lipedema and how are you using this site to manage the diet restrictions we have in a cost-effective way?
This appears to be expensive with all the different items in the meal plan (I selected some variations, and waiting on a low variation version now)
