Ossie-Sharon – Thank you for your reply. I was using the coconut as my morning “fat.” But maybe I should cut back like you suggested and substitute some nuts (cashews, pistachios?) for the morning fat?

Thoughts?

Hi, TY2252. 1 oz is quite a bit – 1/3 cup. Is that really how much you use? It would be better if you use something like 1 tablespoon (5 gm).

Hi – I have discovered organic unsweetened shredded coconut as a topping for my morning cereal and just love it. I have been using 1 oz every day. Is that too much? It seems to be controversial.
