High milk consumption (in your case, twice what is recommended, assuming you are not consuming other dairy products) can interfere with your body’s iron absorption and stores, and caries a risk of anemia. Also, if it is not organic, there is a risk of cumulative effects of hormones in the milk. Finally, there is the question of the milk replacing other foods and therefore displacing other nutrients, and the long-term effects of that. |

Just a little question… Been on the programme for about a month, and getting good results… Just one question, I seem to have a bit of a ‘thing’ for milk… I get through about 2 litres a day. Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any long term effects of drinking too much!!! Thanks Lynne x |
