Hi, Dawn200. The cream is whipping cream, and the granulated garlic is what many people call garlic powder (though real garlic powder has the consistency and texture of powdered sugar). I’m not sure what recipes you’re using, so I don’t know about the onions. With regard to special ingredients, you absolutely can use regular counterparts – don’t worry about organic, etc. if you don’t want to deal with those. If you have more questions about specific ingredients, please do repost here.

I am having difficulty understanding some of the items in my shopping list. For example, what is 20oz. Cream, Whipped (fresh)? Is this just the amount of whipped cream needed from using the heavy whipping cream? What is Garlic Granulated? Garlic salt? Garlic powder? And then why would I buy a red onion and a white onion when total I just need one onion? Also, I thought these recipes were supposed to have ingredients that we basically already used or that were obtainable? The recipe for the sausage that I can only get on line is ridiculous. Why not be interested in a persons ability to afford this diet?

Hi, Dawn200. For the time that you are not well, I would suggest using our regular low-carbohydrate (non-keto) route, as the plan is highly nourishing. To access this, just deselect “keto” from the “Dietary Needs” section of your profile (lower right area), then generate a new menu. If you can’t go to the store to get the ingredients, then just use the menu as an example of food portions and food group combinations. Don’t worry about the week being counted. Once you feel better, you can think about trying keto.

Hello out there.
I signed up for this program and then was sick the next day. I have been in bed for the last 2 1/2 days and am still not feeling very well. Needless to say I haven’t been able to go the store or start the recipes. Should I wait until I am at 100% to start this and what should I do since a week will be counted as used on the program but I won’t have used it?

Thank you,
Dawn
