![]() | I’m new to this program, but not new to healthy, whole food eating. I have all kinds of excuses for not eating the right thing, but mostly, I EAT TOOOO MUCH! And you really can have tooooo much of a good thing. I’m weighing and measuring again. We have lots of food in the pantry, and can’t afford to throw it out, so I am entering this new life gradually. I don’t have any organic rice, but I do have brown rice (better), and I’ve stopped using my store bought “light” salad dressing and use a spray of EVOO and a sprinkle of vinegar, etc. The biggest help to me at this stage is that little curvy round symbol after each food on the menu — gives me substitutes for that particular food! My absolutely biggest problem is nightly snacking after dinner!!! And exercising more. I am 73 and have severe arthritis and other health problems, so I sit a lot, and I use a cane, a walker, and a mobility scooter. But I need to be much better about doing my seated exercises. ![]() | hi kate …before i really started on this program i got rid of the fi wasnt allowed to eat and brought the food that i am allowed…i always make sure that i have plenty of fresh fruit and tinned fruit so i can eat that during the day, as fruit you can eat as much as you like. I only really eat chickien because of all my allergies with a salad or cooked vegies. hope this helps you…love and light. |
![]() | So I haven’t exactly started this program fully because I need to re-stock my fridge and pantry and I haven’t been able to go shopping yet. Anyway, I had a thought and wanted to throw it out there. This diet is based on eating the right foods and constantly throughout the day. What if you don’t have the right foods available but there are not so great foods available. Is it worse to not eat anything and send your body into starvation/fat storing mode or to eat the crappy food, affecting your hormones and sending them into fat storing mode?! Based on the program neither is desirable but what should you do if this dilemma arises??? |
